Challenge
A product configurator that simplifies technical LED options into a guided selection flow. I implemented a basic CPQ configurator with a Three Fiber 3D view and MobX State Tree for state management. The goal was to keep every configurator question synchronized in one debuggable, persistent state tree that works cleanly with React.
Solution
Because a configurator must stay interactive, each answer can unlock new questions, recompute dependent options, and block invalid combinations in real time. The second phase focused on technical delivery outputs: generating BOM-style custom PDFs that explain how builders should execute the selected configuration. This output is driven by reading the state tree through a rules system managed in a backoffice for product specialists.
